Britt Reid (Seth Rogen), the son of wealthy newspaper publisher James Reid (Tom Wilkinson), is a ne’er do well playboy who inherits a media empire after his father dies. One day, he meets an employee named Kato (Jay Chou), who is more than he appears. After realizing how he and Kato waste their abilities, Britt decides that the two should become crimefighters, taking on the identity of the Green Hornet.

From Pineapple Express director David Gordon Green, Your Highness stars McBride as a lazy second-born prince and Franco as his dashing elder brother who embark on a quest alongside a warrior princess played by Natalie Portman to save their father’s kingdom from an evil wizard. Deschanel will play Franco’s bride.  Green and the film’s screenwriter Ben Best have said the film will be an R-rated love letter to 80’s fantasy flicks like Krull and the Dark Crystal
