5 Ways to Fix ‘Heroes’

Hey guys, TotallyNotNick here. If you listen to Geekeasy, you’re probably aware of how strongly I disliked Volume Three of Heroes. But that doesn’t mean I won’t watch Volume Four; I’m a very forgiving geek and I’m willing to give Tim Kring’s bumbling superhero saga another chance, mostly because the show is now going to have Bryan Fuller as a staff writer. However, if I ran Heroes, here’s what I would do to revive this once mighty series.

Tim Kring Speaks Out About Heroes!

At the recent Screenwriting Expo, Tim Kring spoke to fans about Heroes and his creative process. Here are a few excerpts…

“The problem is you run into a whole series of issues, where show and business run into each other. The network falls in love with characters, the audience falls in love with characters, the press falls in love with characters. And it’s contractually hard to get people onboard for a brief period. You find yourself writing for characters you thought would be gone.”

ABC Cancels ‘Daisies’ ‘Eli’ and ‘Money’

ABC has decided to spray weed killer on Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone, and Dirty Sexy Money, opting not to pick up the series for full-season orders.

Money and Eli are still in production (on their 12th and 13th episodes, respectively) and will finish shooting their current order, while Daisies finished production on its final episode last week.
