In this episode we catch up on some old news that we’ve missed and some current news.

First off, we talk about what has been playing on out television screens, but then shift our focus onto some bogus rumors involving The Dark Knight sequel. Then its time to get into the news, including an interesting new comic adaptation and horrifying news from Rob Zombie. Trailers this week are for: The Great Buck Howard, The Proposal, The Brothers Bloom, Terminator Salvation, Dragonball Evolution, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Zombie to Direct Halloween Sequel

Dimension films has signed director Rob Zombie to direct a sequel to his 2007 remake/prequel/reinvention of Halloween. Horror film enthusiasts everywhere die just a little more.

The sequel, titled H2, is being rushed into a March production start for release this October.

The new film will be a direct follow-up to Zombie’s first film, pick up right where it ended, following the aftermath of Michael Myers‘ murderous rampage, rather than a remake of Halloween 2.

Zombie had told Dimension that he wanted nothing to do with a sequel. But somehow, Zombie was compelled to come back.

“I was so burned out. (But) I took a long break, made a record and I got excited again,” Zombie said. “Now, we’ll be hauling ass, and that’s the problem making a movie called Halloween: If you come out Nov. 1 or after, nobody cares. If it was called anything else, I’d be fine.”
