FOX Blesses ‘Dollhouse’ With Friday Death Slot

Well, I think the worst thing that could possibly happen (next to not airing at all) has happened for Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse.

Originally sceduled to debut midseason on Monday Nights with hit show 24, Dollhouse has now been given a Friday night slot, which is notoriously bad for television shows. In fact, the last sci-fi series FOX has launched successfully in that time slot was 1993’s The X-Files.

Also moving to Fridays is FOX’s Terminator: The Sarah Conor Chronicles, whose ratings have plummeted since last season.

Terminator: The Sarah Conor Chronicles gets the 8pm slot, followed by Dollhouse at 9pm. Dollhouse premieres Friday, February 13th at 9pm.

It has a tough time period currently, going up against the Genre similar Chuck and the ratings giant Dancing with the Stars….

Dollhouse Production Suspended

Ok, so the title is a little misleading, but according to Reuters, Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse” has shut down production for a couple of weeks.  The first 3 episodes have been shot already and Joss is not very happy with how it has turned out.  He has requested the shut-down so he can work on the scripts.

Fox Discusses More X-Men and Daredevil

After its lackluster summer notably void of superhero films, 20th Century Fox seems to be contemplating a return to the well for some comic-based blockbusters. Though the studio has no intention of any major overhauls, it has scheduled a strategy meeting to assess its many superhero properties, which include X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Daredevil.
