E3 2009: Nintendo Conference Live Blog

I’m not sure where the wires got crossed, but the Nintendo conference is come in early today at Noon EST. Keep reading to get the Live blog, in order to discuss things with us. Yesterday was fun, and I’m going to try and open things up even more today for those that join in.

Live Blogging E3 2009

I’m going to be trying something a little bit different this week. For the three major E3 conferences, I will be live blogging on the site. LiveBlogging is basically a glorified way of chatting with users as the event is covered. If you are interested in the conference at all, you will want to be around starting Monday. The schedule and more details after the break.

Take the best things about a chat room, and combine them with the best things about Blogging, and you have Live Blogging. Users will be able to log in, ask questions, discuss the latest news, etc. However, the primary purpose is actually to get the news out there. So whether or not people show up to discuss everything, the show will go on. The blog will get posted, and people will be able to read through the history very easily.

However, like most things, this is the most fun if people are there to participate. So I hope to see some video game fans for the following dates and times:

Microsoft: June 1st – Live Blogging begins at 1pm EST (Set a Reminder)
Sony: June 2nd – Live Blogging begins at 1:30pm EST (Set a Reminder)
Nintendo: June 2nd – Live Blogging begins at 4:30pm EST (Set a Reminder)

Hopefully, everyone that cares will be there to share their opinions as they roll in. Watching the show and talking about it at the same time. What could be better? Live blogging begins 30 mins before each conference.

GeekiN Episode #93 – E3 Extravaganza

E3 kicks off on Monday, June 1st. What should you expect to see when the big companies take the stage? Randy is joined by Nathanael, aka PolygonWizard for a special episode of GeekiNtertainment. Two and a half hours of pure video game discussion. Each system gets it’s discussion time.
