Two Geeks Commentary 01 – Spider-Man

Come one come all its the Two Geeks Commentary. And as our first selection we thought we’d go with an obvious choice, the original Spider-Man movie, starring Tobey McGuire and Kirsten Dunst and directed by Sam Raimi. Scott and Ben with a special guest, sit down with a big bowl of pop corn and give their opinions about one of the first comic book movies of the modern age. Heroes Season 3 Promo Images!

NBC has released the following promo images for Heroes: Villains, the third volume of the series. The new season premieres on on Monday, September 22 (8-9 p.m. ET) with an hour-long compilation show that will lead into an all new, two-hour premiere (9-11 p.m. ET).

Hellboy: The TV Series?

This is a very interesting rumor that came about due to a throwaway comment made by Universal production prexy Donna Langley.

Hellboy II director Guillermo del Toro is apparently booked with projects through 2017 with projects such as his current adaptation of The Hobbit, remakes of both Frankenstein and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, as well as several others.

But del Toro is currently awaiting word on whether Universal will allow him to finish off his Hellboy trilogy. Hellboy II: The Golden Army fell just short of blockbuster status in the US , but performed very well overseas.

Raimi And Maguire’s Spidey Senses Tingle Again!

News dropped today that Spider-Man vets Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi have been locked in by Sony to return for back to back productions of Spidey 4 & 5.

No word yet on Kirstin Dunst, but it is understood that Mary Jane Watson will be featured in the film and Sony isn’t looking to recast the character.
