Y The Last Man Vol. 5In this final Deluxe Edition hardcover collecting Y #49-60, Yorick and Agent 355 prepare for their ultimate quest to reunite the last man with his lost love, while the person, people or thing behind the disaster that wiped out half of humanity is revealed. Then, Yorick Brown's long journey through an Earth populated only by women comes to its dramatic, unexpected conclusion.
Thanks for taking my question.
Your thoughts were helpful or at least I think they will be helpful as I haven’t seen the 1st Avengers movie of the Avengers Kids one. The fact that Scott also did not care for Batman: Gotham Knight makes me think that maybe our opinions are similar on these kind of movies.
On the topic of free Best Buy stuff- Apparently if you’re one of the first people to buy the Nick and Norah’s Infinte Playlist DVD, you can get a free Where’s Fluffy? t-shirt
Sweet!
Hey, who was Scott and Ben’s choice for Black Widow back on the If We Ran Hollywood episode from a while back?
Ben – Milla Jovovich
Me – Christina Hendricks
Scott, I don’t think Milla Jovovich would make a very good Ben. Unless you were planing on the movie having a lot more T&A than the podcast.
I’m not a big fan of Cowboy Bebop okay i never even seen it , But i am a big fan of Keanu Reeves , Even tho mos want people dont like him I think it a great acter even tho he doesnt want to go back to his roots ( bill and Ted 3 ) but that a diffent story , as for this movie I will see it just becouse he in it.
I don’t hate Keanu, but he’s not a very good actor.
Watch Point Break, and listen to him deliver the line “I am an FBI agent.” and tell me he’s a good actor. :)
well I never watch that show before besides 10 mins of it and I hated it but he wasnt in any scene I saw , Maybe I should put it like this , I like the movie he in ( not really for his acting )
Keanu Reeves is kind of blegh, but frankly that makes him a perfect fit for Spike Spiegel (the lesser of the pop culture Spikes). I’m far more interested in who they cast for Faye and Ed- though Ed will probably end up being someone new and unheard of.
The Graveyard Book is truly excellent- love the Jacks-, and the news that they’re making a movie out of it fills me with glee. While I look forward to seeing Coraline- which I unfortunately have not read-, I really hope they do this one in a medium other than clay/figurine/stop-motion… I do not like the style.
Still, I wants me an American Gods HBO miniseries, damnit!
Street Fighter movie looks horrid.
I’m still pissed off at the death of the Preacher HBO series, I meet the news of a Preacher film with a grumble and much shaking of fists.
The Haunting in Connecticut actually looks like a horror movie I might go see in theaters…. which is weird, for me.
It would really stink if they lost Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
Hmmm, that is all.
I am Reading American Gods right now and loving it!! This would make a really good mini…
Gotta get on Terry Gilliam’s ass about American Gods. He’s been sitting on those rights for awhile now. I just got a copy of The Graveyard Book from work. Did you all hear? It won the Newberry! How cool is that?
I have a feeling 2009 is going to be a good year for Gaiman and Gaiman fans as well.
So, back to American Gods. Who should play Shadow? Mr. Wednsday?
Shadow = Ray Stevenson
Wednsday = Rutger Hauer
@Chris- Dude! I totally agree with the American Gods mini-series! That would be excellent.
this episode won’t download for me… hmm, I’ll try downloading the old fashioned way
Robert Rodriguez seems to have like, five films in various states of production. Barbarella, Sword on Sonja, The Jetsons Movie, Sin CIty 2, Machete and now a Predator movie? This guy makes Jos Whedon look like Terrance Malick.

So Crimson Dynamo not a for sure…(unlike what was said on the show)
Ricky Gervais = Most sarcastic and useless Companion ever. But I would totally watch it
I totally agree with you, My Bloody Valentine is not a movie to go see in 2D, but it works really well as a 3D slasher flick
As soon as you mentioned Tin Tin, Babar came to mind too. Man they were both cartoons i couldn’t ever get into. Bored me soo much but i’d watch when nothing was on.
I was always a fan of Rupert
