Supernatural podcast!!!! :D :D :D
You made a good point on the Airbender casting Scott. I was more disappointed that they couldn’t find any actors with a bit more “diversity” that could play the characters then the fact they didn’t at all. I don’t doubt that the kids they cast will do a good job, my heart just goes out for the kids without cool movie characters that look like them. And if it sounds like I’m putting too much of a emphasis on race, its because growing up my race had a lot to do with…I don’t know how to put this without getting out the soapbox… Anyway, I get what you’re saying and I agree with you as well. I guess my biggest regret was that the right kids for the part look like everyone else. But totally looking forward to whatever Airbender footage or news comes our way in the future
J-Bey, ftw!
Completely agree with you guys on Airbender. I’m very excited. Although the voice actor who played Zukko’s uncle was Japanese I believe (and I think he passed away at some point, which is off topic but he was great so RIP).
I do wonder what J-Bey thinks of the Airbender casting? How is J-Bey doing btw? I liked him.
Wasn’t Snake Eyes a good guy on GI Joe? Or am I going senile and forgetting my childhood? :)
Hated the Halloween remake so much I only got about 25 minutes in, got bored and turned it off and I was really looking forward to it.
+1 on Ben Foster playing Freddy :)
Might just have to pick up Fables TPB, although I’m so far behind on my comic reading. I may just wait right before the show airs. Sounds like it would be cool on HBO or Showtime (I do love nudity, hehe) but ABC seems to be the place for if it’s going to air on regular network TV.
Loved Brick too and I listened to the commentary on the DVD and the director seems really cool and went through a lot to even get that movie made. No one in Hollywood wanted to make it, so it’s cool that he got a second movie to direct.
Great episode guys
Another show? Damn guys, you two are the hardest working guys on the internet.
Really looking foward to the new show.
I went to pick up fables today, I’d be eyeing it for awhile, and just needed an excuse to get it….sadly my local store is closing down and are selling everything off at 50%, so it was like picking at bones.
At what point does it go from hard working to masochism?
@Saberj: about 2 podcasts ago…
“about 2 podcasts ago…”
*rim shot* Ben Noblitt will be here all week… tip your waitress :)
The new show is going to be awesome. Supernatural is an amazing series and you guys will really be able to do it justice. Geekshow keeps getting bigger and better! And props for doing two podcasts a week, that’s pretty intense especially since you are not getting paid for this.
I have been a devout fan of Supernatural since the beginning…I can’t wait to hear this, and if ever you need a stand-in for an episode I would really want to do it…. ( Goes to watch season 3…again)
Ignore the question about J-Bey, hehe, I posted before you got to that part (serves me right).
Can’t wait for the Supernatural podcast. I’m even almost caught up, just watched episode 4 of season 4 last night. And I have seasons 1-3 on dvd so I might just watch the first 8 episodes of S1 again to familiarize myself with it before the podcast is posted. :)
good times, couldn’t have picked a better series to do and look forward to hearing you guys, with J-Bey.
I am still curious how J-Bey feels about the Airbender casting though; he seems so enthused when talking about this show when he was guesting.
I’m a little late about getting through my podcasts. I just listened to this podcast. Can I just say I’m super excited about a Supernatural podcast? I LOVED your Buffy and Angel podcasts and eagerly await each Meteorgeek. And Supernatural is one of my favorite shows. Yay! You made my night!
