First!
I’m to the point where I want to commit suicide just by seeing bald men who “look” like they want to star in an action movie. Curse you Jason Statham!
I hated the idea of the FBI thing… so YAY!
I like the idea of an Extreme Ghostbusters movie. I loved watching the show when I was younger and wouldn’t mind seeing that be a continuation of the movies.
Again, Captain America = Matt Keeslar.
That is all.
I just wanted to say that I also think Appaloosa looks freaking awesome. If you guys lived around here, I would definitely go see it with you. When you were mentioning other recent westerns, I was waiting for you to mention 3:10 to Yuma, but you never did. I thought Yuma was a ton of fun to watch, and the characters were really good.
I too liked 3:10 to Yuma, but I did think that I was going to like it more than I did…
haha I’ve been waiting all day to come home and mention 3:10 to Yuma also, it was one of my favorites last year.
New Ghostbusters: Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, Jason Segal and Craig Robinson. And Danny McBride as the Rick Moranis-esque behind the scenes guy
I read that David Boreanaz is being considered to play Green Lantern because he was the model for the concept art.
@Nick
So did I, but not before recording this episode…
No Russell Brand in the GhostBuster line up as an Egon type character? I guess it would be hard for him to tone down the language.
I love westerns. Can’t wait for Apoloosa, might even read the book before going. I salavated over 3:10 to Yuma. THAT was a western, not retro pastiche, not a period piece but a genuine western.
You know what’s not that bad of a ‘modern’ western? Kinda cheesy, but I really liked Sam Raimi’s “The Quick and the Dead.”
Sam Raimi’s “The Quick and the Dead” is a FANTASTIC western. That film is one of the many reasons he’s one of my favorite directors.
I really need to get around to watching 3:10 to Yuma. I also have the Brisco County Jr box set… looks like October’s going to be western month :)
i love how Scott is Ben’s therapist
“How does that make you feel?”
lol
good episode guys. I think Randy Quaid in real time sounds Australian not British though.
Took me time for you to check out all the notes, but I truly enjoyed the article. It proved to be in fact helpful to me and I’m sure to all of the commenters right here! It’s usually great when you can not just be informed, but additionally engaged! I’m certain you had enjoyable writing this write-up.
