Homeless Ben!? Guess its hard out there for a photography major.
I’ve seen Step Brothers and Pineapple Express and loved both. I’m seeing Tropic Thunder tomorrow and I’ll download the episode after that
I was checking out digg.com when I saw this cool Teaser Poster for the 3rd Batman Film. It’s not the real one but this would make a perfect teaser poster. http://www.bamkapow.com/fake-batman-3-poster–1728-p.html
Ooh, Avatar talk, nice! I started watching this how b/c of Scott (and J-Bey). Glad I headed your advice, b/c it is (was?) such a great show.
I haven’t seen Tropic Thunder yet but I’ve been spoiled.
Will see it Sunday.
Loved Pinepple Express and Step-Brothers.
@Khalif – I just posted that here yesterday. It’s the article below this one.
Although I love both “Pushing Daisies” and “Wonderfalls” a crossover bothers me, mostly because it seems like the two shows exist in different worlds. “Wonderfalls” is about strange things happening in our world; “Daisies” is about us the audience visiting a world other then our own.
I was at comic con and it was awesome! The only thing was it was extremely crowded this year. Every year Comic-Con seems to gain more and more people to the point where it’s just hard to get around. The displays and posters of all the new movies comic out this year looked amazing. I almost got into the watchmen panel and they cut it off 50 people before my friends and I. :(. However, I’m gonna keep going every year. It was cool to hear you guys talk about it in this episode
Hey Scott, did you hear the news that James Franco, Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow are talking about doing a “Superbad”/”Pineapple Express” crossover/sequel? Aprrantly, the story (if they actually did it) would about the the kids from “Superbad” coming to Saul to buy weed and they somehow get in trouble with gangsters again. They also said that if they did do it, one of Seth Rogen’s charecters (the “Superbad” cop, or Dale) would be killed early on to avoid confusion. Thoughts anyone?
Oh and that they would get both the “Superbad” and “Pineapple Express” directors to co-direct it.
Todday I just got back from what I guess you would call the UK equivelant of comic con, movie con (day 1), pretty freaking sweet, I got to see some Terminator Salvation footage (looking awesome), Bolt footage (looking sweet), the movie RocknRolla (which was ok I guess, not a big Guy Ritchie fan, the name of the sequel sounds awful though, “The Real RocknRolla”… was this one fake then?), some Day the Earth Stood Still footage (why on earth this is being remade is beyond me, looks awful), Wolfman footage (looks great), the movie Hellboy 2 (which I loved, not as good as Pan but better than Hellboy 1) and Pineapple Express (best comedy I’ve seen all year, though I’m seeing Step-Brothers and Tropic Thunder tomorrow so who knows).
There’s no way I can really criticize someone who hasn’t done drugs, lol. But it always annoys me when people who drink alcohol “seem” to get on a high horse about not smoking pot.
Alcohol, IMO, is far more dangerous and destructive than pot is.
I just had to say that.
I’ll all for the Pineapple Express/Superbad crossover!
Mr. Pointy: I agree with you. Like, if your hypothetical boss hypohetically yells at people about hypothetically smoking up in the alley behind the theater when he is chugging a hypothetical bottle of Jack Daniels and chain smoking.
Hypothetically speaking that is.
Although I do agree that stoner comedies are kinda annoying. I like Willow but that’s about it. And The Wall. (A friend of mine used to work at the planetarium and they used to still do the light show on Sat nights. He had a running joke that he passed out tabs of acid at the door)
Oh yeah, and syncing up Dark Side of the Moon to Wizard of Oz.
I seriously can’t remember the last time I drank enough to get buzzed let alone get drunk and/or completely wasted. Hell, I can’t even remember the last time I drank hard liquor… It’s been at least a year.
And even then, I can literally count on one hand the amount of times I’ve gotten drunk. And every single time, I’ve been at home. With no desire to leave my house and go for a joyride.
Alcohol can absolutely be more destructive than pot, but I’m not one of those people so… I don’t really appreciate what it seems that you’re getting at.
I’m extremely proud of myself for never doing drugs of any kind, so I’m sorry if that seems like I’m on a high horse.
If this sounds defensive, I’m sorry, but I get really annoyed when people who smoke pot *seem* to get offended that you choose not to.
Don’t get me wrong, I admire those who have never done any drugs (and I haven’t smoked pot in 8 yrs or so)
You bringing up the the fact that you don’t (or never have) done pot but have drunk, just reminded me of this issue and I wanted to say something.
I wasn’t saying you get drunk but don’t get high. I even had the feeling by the tone of the ocmment that you probably don’t even drink that much.
I just hate the attitude (no matter where it comes from) that pot is this bad thing just because it’s illegal.
Liquor was once illegal.
Just had to vent.
So I saw Tropic Thunder, whilst I liked it, I found it some what disapointing, it just didn’t live up to its potential for me… Tom Cruise in a fat suit dancing? That’s your big ending? I honestly thought that Pineapple Express was a funnier and better movie with more interesting characters who I could connect to (and no, I’m not addicted to anything, I smoke pot about once every other month and have done ecstacy one and am not wanting to do it again).
I saw some brand spanking new Watchmen footage, then had a q and a with Dave Gibbons ho has now seen the movie, he said if fans liked the way the trailer looked, they are going to love the movie, boo freaking ya baby.
I saw some Twilight footage too, it looks sucky!
I enjoyed Tropic Thunder, but also liked Pineapple Express better.
yep pineapple express was way better, even if you dont smoke weed
