That was pretty good. I el oh eled. I don’t think both shows can use nerfherder theme songs though.
Thanks Rusty. From you that actually means a lot.
Woot!
Kevin Smith meets Star Trek.
Funny story about the theme; I didn’t know it was Nerf Herder until I read the post today. I thought Scott made it on ProTools or something. I love it though, wouldn’t trade it for anything
So will you have a panel discussion after a story ends? Need questions?
We will be most likely having a live, panel discussion after all 3 episodes of arc one are out. So save questions until episode 3 is posted. What you can do in the meantime is tell everyone you know about Red Shirts and get as many people to download and suscribe to it as possible. I want Lost Season One numbers by June, damnit!
Hell yeah! And on my birthday, too! This was very fun to listen to. Nice flow, well-paced, good levels, and pretty funny. I especially liked it when Nick first got back on to the ship. This is gonna be a blast.
Oh! I forgot to mention this in the episode, but please, please, PLEASE leave us iTunes reviews!
I really like the idea and the fact the redshirts called them the “untouchables”, i’d love to hear a full length episode.
um…this WAS full length…
Actually, this makes me think more of the format of the season 8 comics for Buffy. In those books, three or four issues generally cover a single arc. When those individual issues are combined into a Trade Paperback, that is meant to represent one full episode equivalent to the TV show.
These first six minutes or so feel more like the first act, and after the next two installments, only then will it feel more like a full episode to me (around 24 minutes, roughly the length of an episode of a sitcom). Personally, I love this format. It’s a lot easier to consume the show in these smaller increments and it makes things tighter and well-paced.
Let me compare “Red Shirts” to “The Guild” or the It’s Some Random Guy’s stuff and say they all have short episodes and that’s perfectly fine with me.
I just ment the steriotypical 25 or 50 minute show (I think in tv time). Point was keep up the good work.
Thanks man!
I’d just like to point out we have more comments than episode 100…aw yeah!
Episode two will most likely be it next weekend; everyone’s really busy what with our final exams and all. Stick with us guys!
Red Shirts Episode 2: Atlas We Meet is in the can! Should be out by the end of the week at the latest!
