The fall has only gotten slightly easier with all the game delays.  Pretty much the only effect will be that the beginning of 2010 will also be packed with games I want to play.

I liked the Batman Arkham Asylum demo as well.  I'll probably wait to see what kind of reviews the full game gets before I decide if it's worth a full purchase or not.  However, if a retailer decides to sell it for $40 within the first few weeks of release or packs in a decently-sized gift card with it, I'll probably cave in and get it.

As for the rest of the year, ODST definitely looks good, and Modern Warfare 2 looks excellent.  I will probably pick up at least one of those if not both.

Alpha Protocol has the potential to be great, so I might check it out if it gets good reviews.  I'm really looking forward to Brutal Legend.  That game just keeps looking more and more fun the more I see of it.  Dragon Age Origins should be another quality RPG from Bioware, so I'm keeping my eye on that.  At the very least, The Saboteur has a great art style so I hope it turns out to be good.  The first Bad Company was a ton of fun, so Bad Company 2 is also on my radar.  Most likely I will buy one or two of these as well.

However, if I could only buy one game for the rest of the year, it would have to be Assassin's Creed 2.  I had a blast with the first game, so the sequel is a “must purchase” for me.  I'm even halfway considering the deluxe version of the game that comes with the statue.

Just picked up my first game for the PS3, Valkyria Chronicles. Gotta grab Uncharted, Infamous, and LittleBigPlanet once I get back from my vacations. But for now, this one is going to have to do. It's a beautiful game though. It's probably the best Sega game I've played since the Dreamcast. I'm only about an hour in, but it's looking like it's going to be an emotionally moving game.
