So I want to start out by saying that I am not a huge RTS fan, but I am absolutely loving this game. I just started it this morning, but its the best RTS I've ever played, on a console at the least.

Not much competition for the title that I've seen. Though there was the popular LOTR RTS and the C&C RTS as well. They were pretty solid from what I've heard.

I have a love/hate with the game. The demo was incredibly shallow, but it was strangely fun. I haven't decided if I want this yet. Really I should have picked up the Limited edition, so that even if I ended up not playing it, I still would have got the Legendary maps out of it.

It seems like it is using the LOTR rts engine. It has the same this is you base and here is where you can build thing going on and the areas on the map used for extra income.


The demo felt like a very generic rts with nothing standing out besiides the fact that it was set in the Halo universe.

The demo was kind of fun, but *very* simple.  The cutscenes were awesome, but the demo gameplay itself was rather generic.  I think I might have more fun with the full game, but not enough to buy it at full price.
