Hey guys, I just saw that we have a music forum, so I thought I’d do the honors of starting the discussion.
Right now my favorite album is It’s Not Me It’s You by Lily Allen. It’s a real progression from her last record, even though (or maybe because of) its lack of a smash-hit single like “Smile” or “LDN.” I’m also planning on picking up (or downloading, I haven’t decided yet) the new U2 album, No Line on the Horizon. I’m a young pup, so I don’t really have that emotional history with U2 that some people have, but I do know that any music they put out is worth listening to, if only to weigh in on it.

Also, I’m totally hooked on the new Eminem track, “Crack A Bottle.” I know, weird…

I guess he’s pulling a Jay Z and getting back in the game.
Totally in love with Los Campesinos as well, but I still haven’t listened to We Are Beautiful,We Are Doomed yet.

He re-married Kim and then she divorced him without a pre nup. My guess is money; his clothing line and label are not doing well.

Oh thank god. I thought I was the only one on this forum that even knew who he was (not sure why though; he's insanely popular now). If you like him, E-603 has a sound very close to him. And if you ever have a chance to see a Girl Talk concert, GO! It's an awesome time.

I've been on a bit of a Riot Grrl phase at the moment. Just dl-ed Bikini Kill's “CD Version of Our First Two Records” and a bunch of L7 and Bratmobile with a sprinkling of Sleater Kinney.

Maybe it's because I just had to work a Miley Cyrus event but damn I miss the Riot Grrls…
