For those that are fans of the show, you know how expensive the Farscape DVDs can be (or used to be). There is a new complete box set brought out by A&E. It is super cheap!!!! On amazon it is around $100, but you can get it cheaper on ebay. Seriously, the first season was like $300 Canadian a couple years ago, maybe even a year ago. How long has the new site been here? I started watching Farscape when Polygon_Wizard recommended it on the old site. That's when I started collecting the Starburst DVDs (some of them, I had a hard time finding some and I gave up).

Man, I definitely know how expensive it was to get Farscape on DVD.  I bought all the seasons for about $90 each back during their original release even before the Starburst ones.  This new set looks pretty awesome.  It includes almost all of the previous special features including commentaries (some of the image galleries are missing, but who really cares?), and the price is pretty reasonable.  The only thing missing is the Peacekeeper Wars miniseries that wrapped the show up.  Otherwise, this set would be perfect.  Luckily you can find the Peacekeeper Wars DVD pretty easily (and it's cheap!).

I'm glad that I got somebody to watch this show.Laugh  I recently finished rewatching the entire series again, and I still stick by my original description of Farscape as “Buffy in Space”. I find that the two shows have so many similarities in structure, tone, and characterizations that I still think that description is quite accurate.
