Ok, so maybe I'm just an idiot and missed something in the finale. In the end of the episode Sylar transforms/shapeshifts into Nathan. However, when they are burning the body at the end of the episode it is Sylar's. If Nathan IS Sylar now, then how is Sylar's body still there. I probably just missed something, but is someone could fill me in that would be great.

I don't want her back on the show.  She was mildly interesting the first season, but pretty boring after that.  Even playing a brand new character didn't end up being very interesting.  Heroes has a bad case of resurrection-itis, and I think it hurts the show.

Also, the whole coda section at the end of the finale was very underwhelming.  It didn't really make me want to watch any more.  Contrast that with the end of the first season with Hiro in Japan that made me want to see more immediately.  I just thought the whole finale this year was rather sloppy, and they didn't even show us any of the cool stuff.

well i was being sarcastic for Randy :p Though Tracy looks more bad ass then ever now and the start of chapter 5 made me want excited for heroes for once. Hopefully one day they will get the budget together for a real fight though instead of the blue lights behind a door thing but i wasn't too bothered about that.

It was the original shapeshifter's body in syler form that they where burning at the end to make syler/nathan think he was dead. I didn't totally get the logic of turning syler into nathan but they seem to want to keep him as long as the show is running. I still wished he was offed in the season 1 final with peter or died in season 2 at the latest.

It's not a Heroes finale unless they are fake-killing Nathan.

This is my awesome signature…please don’t step on it.

Yeah, this time they didn't even bother with waiting until the next season to “undo” what they did to Nathan.

This is my awesome signature…please don’t step on it.

That one is simple. They didn't want to have to explain that Nathan was killed by “one of them”, because that would make it virtually impossible to stop the current project they were trying so hard to kill. Remember, Nathan is a senator, and as far as I know, nobody went public with the fact that he had powers. So he is still an innocent in the whole situation.

Personally, I loved this whole chapter. Loved the ending. I especially loved how everyone threw a fit that they were going with another “explosion in big city” storyline, and the whole thing was totally to throw people off. ;)

My only complaint about the whole thing, is that they've completely ruined the idea that there is a consistent timeline, in which one day bad-ass Hiro will be around. You can't even buy the whole “Hiro vs Ando” thing, because they've shown that the future can easily be changed.

Also, bleh to Ali Larter.
