I put the “Recent Forums Discussions” panel back into the page layout. It was originally removed because there were issues with the website freaking out over CPU usage, and that seemed to be the cause. There have beena  couple patches since then, so I'm hoping that the problem was solved. If not, the new version of the software comes out soon, and that is supposed to have major performance bumps. 

I wanted to try and make people aware of the recent change, so that they can find it easier to participate in discussions again. It's a lot easier to keep up with the forums when the recent discussions are posted on the main page.

If you have any further suggestions/comments, let me know.
