I'm not sure I would have noticed it if you hadn't mentioned it.  It's pretty far down there.  Would it be difficult to add another tab to the Recent Comments/Recent Posts box?  You could make the overall box a “recent” box with three tabs for comments, article posts, and forum posts.

Alternatively, you could bump it above the long polls box.

Well, the question becomes, would you be more likely to see it at the bottom of the list, or in an unactive tab? I mean, I assume you have probably checked out all the tabs, Polygon. But what about normal users? I'm afraid that those tabs may go unviewed by many people.

But to answer your question, I can “kind of” put it in a tab. The problem is, the system they use for tabs in this theme isn't exactly designed to be flexible. So I have to keep the same number of tabs, and change the contents out. Or, I have to figure out what I need to change in order to fix it to be different.

I've been working on that, actually. I have a new plugin that will list all of the posts that have comments you haven't read. 5 at a time, until you read them all, or you mark them all as read. However, I haven't put it up yet, because I'm trying to figure out the tab thing. Also, the cookie didn't work for the 5 minutes I had it up last night. Works great on the dev site, though. Very weird.

Anyway, I might be able to do the forum link thing you suggested. I'll check on it. The problem is, it's a widget that I don't have much control over. So I'm not for sure what I can do to it.
