Project Natal scheduled to appear at E3
Thursday, March 25th, 2010
No brainer, right? Apparently Natal will be making it’s “World Premiere” on Sunday June 13th. Following that will be the regular Xbox 360 briefing. Then on Monday, there will be a special Natal briefing. For whatever reason, Microsoft seems to always be able to offer the first content of E3. And it appears there is a ton of content to offer this time. Two briefings and a world premiere? At least we won’t have to worry much about the regular briefing being flooded with casual offerings (I’m looking at you, Nintendo and Sony!)

Y The Last Man Vol. 5In this final Deluxe Edition hardcover collecting Y #49-60, Yorick and Agent 355 prepare for their ultimate quest to reunite the last man with his lost love, while the person, people or thing behind the disaster that wiped out half of humanity is revealed. Then, Yorick Brown's long journey through an Earth populated only by women comes to its dramatic, unexpected conclusion.
Personally, I’m waiting for Sony to reveal a Tootsie-Pop game for their new motion controller. ;)
As for Natal being at E3….duh! I’ve read some speculation that MS is doing a separate Natal briefing so that they can fit more stuff into the regular briefing. If that’s true, then awesome!
Nintendo will probably focus a lot on the new 3DS, but not show that many games for it. I expect that Sony will have a pretty good briefing, but their PS Move stuff will still look lame, boring, and too expensive.
I just want to see what kind of games we are in for in the second half of the year. I am really keeping my fingers crossed that Nintendo announces a new Zelda game for the fall….and that it won’t suck.
I figured as much. Remember, they have Halo Reach, Crackdown, and Fable III to release. Plus the newest Call of Duty game. They are going to have a ton of regular content to add to whatever Natal brings. Should be a good year for everyone, not just the casual gamer.
The latest rumor I heard is that the new Zelda game will make use of the vitality sensor. It better not be in a lame way. And hopefully it would be optional.
Maybe it will tie the pulsing, “low health” sound in with your actual heartbeat. Yep. That would be lame.
I wouldn’t be that surprised to see the vitality sensor tied in to one of Nintendo’s big franchises like Zelda though. Otherwise they’d never sell the stupid thing.
