Even with the few good announcements they had, Nintedo’s presentation of them was awful. Yes people like Mario games, that doesn’t mean that we want to see four of them in the presentation. While the high points were great, Metroid, Golden Sun, Super Mario, there were not enough to carry the presentation and hold watcher’s interests. The whole presentation was permeated with an air of smugness, of “look how good we are”, that the presentation left me bored and watching the clock.

Saying the crap about having a 4d mario then just chaning the meaning of 4d to mean 4 player wasn’t the best start. Then i gave up watching at the 2nd mario game. There where some nice games but nothing really to interest me.

Leagues is an over statement. While there was definitely higher highs, there were also lower lows.

I just can’t fathom why Nintendo didn’t want to show things like Red Steel 2 or Silent Hill: Shattered Memories that look very impressive, and are certainly better than lecturing for a long time. Heck, I even wish they had showed off the new Rabbids game from Ubisoft as well.

I agree that the DS had several nice titles shown (COPS: The Recruit not included), but I wish they had shown them off a bit more than just short trailers. Nintendo almost seems reluctant to show their games in anything more than a trailer, unless it has the word “Wii” in the title like WiiSports or WiiFit.

Stop giving lectures Nintendo! Just show off a bunch of cool games.

Plus I thought that the DS had a fantastic show. I saw plenty of games for it that looked interesting. I can’t wait for Golden Sun.

While I agree that Nintendo’s conference was pretty boring, it was leagues better than last year’s.

I thought NSMBWii, SMG2, and Metroid were all great games and I can’t wait to play them. Plus Wii Sports Resort looks awesome.

The conference itself was boring, but I liked most of there announcments …. Except for that weird Pulse Reading thing. I don’t know WTF that was about.
