In a surprise announcement, Irrational Games and Ken Levine revealed that they have been working on a new game called Bioshock Infinite. Yea it looked pretty awesome to me, I played the first and second one none stop till I was done, this is going to be a blast.
Side not I was waiting for this so I was probably one of the first 100 to see the trailer, makes me feel important lol
Love me some Bioshock and Bioshock 2. So this will be mine. Even though I like the original Bioshock setting quite a bit better from what we’ve seen of this. I mean really, Magic? Still should be a ton of fun.
So you didn’t like the magic in the first two Bioshocks? Sure, it wasn’t actually called magic, but you had what basically amounted to magic powers. The only “magic” I’m seeing in this trailer is the woman in the window with telekinesis. Did I miss something else?
From what little they are saying about this one, I think I may end up liking the setting more than the original Bioshock, although that’s due more to personal preferences than anything. I like the fact that it still looks like Bioshock to me, despite being in daylight and having brighter colors.
I wish we didn’t have to wait until 2012, but if it results in a great game, then the wait will be worth it. I can’t wait to find out more of what the actual gameplay will be like. They’ve said it’s still an FPS, but that’s about it.
The first one was drugs that caused effects. Which was a cool unique explanation. This one, according to the interviews is actually magic. There is a difference, even if the end result is the same. To me, the “realistic” explanation behind in implausible thing made the world believable.
Yea guys I think the change in setting is warranted I loved the underwater creepy factor don’t get me wrong but if this had taken place in rapture again some how I feel they would have been beating a dead horse that died peacefully and with dignity. So the whole sky thing is an awesome twist. Side note different subject but I totally just beat Arkham asylum like 5 minutes ago so woot for me. lol. I think we should start a discussion on what powers we want to see returned and what new powers could come with this new location.
