This is almost a case of “Which one of these doesn’t belong here”.
It’s Kind of a Funny Story looks pretty good. Due Date looks freaking hilarious. The Town looks like an awesome follow-up to Gone Baby Gone, and The Social Network looks amazing.
Devil looks gimmicky, cliched, and boring to me, and it’s not because of M Night’s name being attached to it either (not that that is helping its case any).
Devil seems like a cool concept to me, but I think I’m done with M Night.
I can’t wait until Social Network.
Like I said on Twitter, this is the first time I’ve looked at an M Night movie and NOT been interested at all.
I’m excited for all of these, even Devil. Shyamalan didn’t write or direct, so it has potential! Gosh, typing that makes me sad…I used to like his work
Interesting, I see on IMDB that Night has credit for the story but didn’t write the screenplay. That’s a good sign (hehe). I might see what the reviews are and check it out now.
