Big things are on the horizon for Heroes…
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Smallville alum’ John Glover has signed on to play the role of Sylar’s father in the fourth volume of Heroes next year.
“When Sylar meets his father, he’s going to see a path ahead of him that he doesn’t want to take,” says a source. “He has a lot more in common with his father than he realized.”
Entertainment Weekly also had the oppurtunity to talk with Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies) about his new role on Heroes. He had a bit to say about Heroes next volume, “Fugitives” which starts in February.
It really is a fresh start. All of the characters are back in their real lives. You see Peter as a paramedic. Claire is looking for colleges. We get away from the world of formulas and quasi-magic

Y The Last Man Vol. 5In this final Deluxe Edition hardcover collecting Y #49-60, Yorick and Agent 355 prepare for their ultimate quest to reunite the last man with his lost love, while the person, people or thing behind the disaster that wiped out half of humanity is revealed. Then, Yorick Brown's long journey through an Earth populated only by women comes to its dramatic, unexpected conclusion.

This could be really awesome. I like John Glover. Hopefully they’ll actually give his character something interesting to do. Also, those comments from Bryan Fuller give me some hope for the future of Heroes. It was much better when everybody had some sort of a “normal” life to worry about as well as all the stuff relating to powers.
Sweet! I always loved his perofrmance in Smallvile, i.e. when his character switched with Clark Kent’s.
Any thoughts to what his power(s) will be?
