Dollhouse Cancelled
Wednesday, November 11th, 2009
Not much to say, other than: Dollhouse has been cancelled by Fox. Stop acting like you’re surprised. The series will finish it’s 13 episode run. There will be an ending.

Y The Last Man Vol. 5In this final Deluxe Edition hardcover collecting Y #49-60, Yorick and Agent 355 prepare for their ultimate quest to reunite the last man with his lost love, while the person, people or thing behind the disaster that wiped out half of humanity is revealed. Then, Yorick Brown's long journey through an Earth populated only by women comes to its dramatic, unexpected conclusion.
Not surprising, but it’s still a bit disappointing.
It was a cool show with a lot of potential but never really found it’s groove. 24 episodes was a respectable run and I’m glad to see it getting a graceful send off.
I hope to see more Fran Kranz and Dichen Lachman.
I liked the show, but I actually don’t feel disappointed. It got more than a fair shot, and never really pulled out of the starting gate.
Yeah, I’m not angry at all myself, but it is still a bit sad. Having said that, Dollhouse has always been a very heady show that’s difficult to sell/promote to the average, American audiences, but Fox did what they could. The fact that they even gave it a second season, when they would have been well within their rights not to, says a lot. 26 episodes (27 if you count the unaired pilot, “Echo”) is a healthy number of episodes, especially for a Whedon show as of late. I’m sure the season 2 DVD set will be an instant buy for a lot of people, myself included. Perhaps in the future, Fox can do what they did with the Tru Calling sets, and release a complete Dollhouse set where both seasons are combined into one package. :)
The important thing is that Dollhouse lives on in my Dollhouse Slashfic.
Really enjoyed the last 2 episodes but I’d be more pleased if the rest of the season 2 sucked so I wouldnt be as annoyed when it ended. I wonder if they will use the last episode to conclude the events of epitaph one or do something different.
yea good show, but not surprised
I think I Buffy spin off with Faith would have worked better then Dollhouse did . I did like Dollhouse would a faith show would have been nice.
