Chuck Gets More Episodes
Saturday, October 31st, 2009
NBC hasn’t aired a single episode of Chuck this fall, and we still probably won’t be seeing the show until 2010 despite rumors that it might come back in November. However, the network recently announced that they have ordered an additional six episodes of Chuck, bringing the total for this yet-to-be-aired season up to 19.
The successful campaign to save Chuck last spring, which involved buying Subway sandwiches, was impressive enough to bring Subway in as a marketing partner for the show. Chuck was originally slated to return in March after the Olympics, but recent rumblings suggest that it may return in January instead. Now fans of the BuyMore have six more episodes of Chuck to look forward to. Considering that the show that was on the brink of being canceled a few months ago, things are now looking much rosier for Chuck and the gang.

Due to poor ratings on several NBC shows this fall and their decision to cancel Southland’s second season before it even aired, several websites were speculating that NBC might bring Chuck back well before it had originally planned. So far, it seems that it was just talk though.
TNT picked up Southland!
Good news about Chuck, but NBC’s decision to put Leno on 5 days a week in primetime was terrible.
