ABC just announced that Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas’ remake of his 90s romantic comedy series Cupid, has been greenlit for series. The new version stars Bobby Cannavale (The Station Agent) and Sarah Paulson (Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip) in the roles originally portrayed by Jeremy Piven and Paula Marshall.
The series is about a man named Dr. Claire Allen (Paulson), a Chicago psychologist, who is given charge of a man named Trevor Hale(Cannavale) who claims to be Cupid sent to Earth as a punishment. To earn his place back on Mount Olympus, he must connect a hundred couples without the use of magic. He has been stripped of his powers and has become a normal human being for the length of his stay among us.

Y The Last Man Vol. 5In this final Deluxe Edition hardcover collecting Y #49-60, Yorick and Agent 355 prepare for their ultimate quest to reunite the last man with his lost love, while the person, people or thing behind the disaster that wiped out half of humanity is revealed. Then, Yorick Brown's long journey through an Earth populated only by women comes to its dramatic, unexpected conclusion.
Of course I’m happy to hear Fillion will have a series and am super excited about Thomas’ Cupid re-boot. Also, glad to see Sarah Paulson involved. She is one of today’s most underrated actresses and I hope this becomes a vehicle for her success.
