Book of the Month
Y The Last Man Vol. 5In this final Deluxe Edition hardcover collecting Y #49-60, Yorick and Agent 355 prepare for their ultimate quest to reunite the last man with his lost love, while the person, people or thing behind the disaster that wiped out half of humanity is revealed. Then, Yorick Brown's long journey through an Earth populated only by women comes to its dramatic, unexpected conclusion.
I was tossing up between this and The Muppets (which has only just come out in the UK) weekend just gone and The Muppets won for me. I’m glad because it was awesome :-) I still plan on seeing Ghostrider for a chuckle but will probably wait till it’s out on DVD.
OH MY GOSH! Ghost Rider was SO bad!
Yeah, it was pretty bad. But really I guess it’s like we talked about in the podcast. It depend on why you went to go see it. If you wanted ridiculous action and Ghost Rider just destroying people, it worked. If you wanted a full movie with a story and interesting characters, then you clearly were not a happy camper.
I went in wanting it to be a movie that didn’t suck! hahaha.
On a lighter note, March 2nd I will be playing Heroclix with 3D terrain again! I will be sure to send some pictures.
Ok this is an extreme tangent but for my b’day (Thursday) I got the green lantern movie heroclix starter and I was wondering if you knew where a site were i could get defections how to play. On another note omg ghost rider was awesome but they had alot of the same problems the first one had. How i love the different attitude of the rider. Awesome show guys thanks!!!!!

Well, to be honest, I’m quite shocked that the Starter set doesn’t come with directions. However, there should be a nice tutorial page on the Heroclix website. Here’s a link to it:

Just check out the 2011 Rules book and it should have very detailed instructions on how to play.
I’m so pumped to hear you’re trying it out. If you ever come to the Chicago area, I am totally challenging you to a game. Have fun!
I will be taking you up on that Heroclox challenge. haha. I should be performing in Chicago sometime later this year. I have to contact the owner of Zanies next month to try and get some dates on the books. Hmmmmm…..perhaps I could even make a special appearance on the podcast at the same time???
