Hey guys just wanted to say in regards to the expendables its not a terrible movie, it might not be your thing I understand but it does have its interesting aspects, Im a big fan of shows about weapons, expecially the show with R. Lee Ermey where he goes of the history of specific weapons, I’m a big fan of the shotgun 100% because of my years of playing counterstrike lol. You get to see the AA-12 in action, up to 300 rounds per minute. I totally just forgot where I was going, I will say its not a geek movie unless you geek out to guns in games lol.
Yeah, The Expendables isn’t as bad as you make it out. It doesn’t deserve to beat Scott Pilgrim at the box office, but it’s fun.
Using the Twilight for dudes logic, isn’t The Avengers just Twilight for geeks?
Twilight is badly written and badly acted garbage for “romance” loving girls. The Expendables is badly written and badly acted garbage for action loving guys.
No, The Avengers is not Twilight for geeks.
I bow out scott lol, your right about the script and acting, I just love guns and booms hehe, but I also love the show :P. ps in that picture of you I would cast you as peter parker :P
I have no problem with The Expendables. That one is all Scott. I just don’t know whether or not I would like it, and haven’t heard much about it. Thanks for sharing your opinion though. :)
you want my opinion, I liked it better then live free or die hard, that was…I don’t know an ok movie but was just to long between franchises for me. So If you guys have the dollar theater option, that by the way i’m like heavily jealous over by the way, go see it in the dollar theater. It’s a fun movie and gods honest truth Randy I know how you feel about completely despicable characters, theres a scene where Steve Austin as the bad guy is beating on a woman, and he gets whats coming to him and its absolutely awesome. Yea its a guy movie but ehh what else is out there to see right now lol. oh side not you might bring up on your next show that I think is pretty cool. read the wiki profile on Dolph Lundgren, that man is an absolute genius lol. Amoung a couple of things he speaks more then 5 languages and he has a masters in chemical engineering from MIT where he had a Fulbright Scholarship lol.
I’m glad you guys are excited for “X-Men: First Class”, but……
Doesn’t it seem like we are just getting a pared down version, “take what we can get” version of the story? I was totally on board with this, but how can you have X-men without Cyclops and Jean Grey? And the way I heard it, the “X-Men Origins: Magneto” movie is dead and will just be absorbed into this film. That should be a good thing overall, but I feel like the actual X-Men from “First Class” aren’t actually going to be in the movie….that’s kinda odd.
I’m havent’ listened to this episode yet so I’m not sure if Scott actually saw Expendables or if he’s preemptively writing it off.
Bad writing…. bad acting… guilty on both charges. But I’m not a gun nut at all and I thoroughly enjoyed the film. It’s one of the most unabashedly goofy movies I’ve seen theatrically in a while. It does a good job of spotlighting each of the stars. Fun movie
Also, loved Piranha 3D. My friend’s got me half convinced it’s the best film of the Summer.
To be fair Scott, at least as far as this episode goes, you haven’t seen The Expendables so you don’t know if it’s badly writeen etc.
But I have seen it, and it is (badly written etc), hehe.
Have you guys not seen Hard Candy? It’s really good IMO.
I like Adrien Brody. He and Kristen Chenoweth should do a movie together and me and Scott can team up and defeat Randy with it. How dare you sir.
Ooh, PS.
Heather Morris, Britney on Glee is great and is the best thing about Glee indeed.
And there are pictures out there of her, very sexy, look for them :) Nakedness might be involved (very tasteful and artsy).
