One last thing, Breaking Bad is being nominated for Season 3, not Season 2 :)

So I think the edge goes to Breaking Bad for me, over mad Men.

I do agree that the Treme snub is just awful as Treme might be the best television programme I’ve ever watched, it’s just perfect. Why it got nothing is beyond me, it is far superior to all the nominated dramas.

My Emmy picks :)

Best comedy
Modern Family (but Community is better and got snubbed)

Best drama
Mad Men (because Breaking Bad S2 was weaker than S2 of Mad men, agreed)

Lead actor (comedy)
Jim Parsons (agreed, but I don’t watch Monk or Curb)

Lead Actor (drama)
Bryan Cranston (YES, although part of me wouldn’t mind, since Cranston has won, if Kyle Chandler wins)

Lead Actress (comedy)
Toni Collette (she’s fantastic on Tara)

Lead Actress (drama)
Connie Britton (I do like January Jones)

And as far as snubs go, Community and Sons of Anarchy (especially Katie Segall). Tremé also got snubbed, which is not surprising since The Wire (David Simon created both) always got snubbed too. And Kim Dickens (Tremé) could’ve been nominated for supporting actress (she plays Sereson’s mom on FNL).

I do like that option. But I’d definitely prefer Norton. Ruffalo is certainly a better fit that Phoenix. Still, Comicon is like a week away, so I’m sure whoever it’s going to be has already been chosen. So I guess we’ll find out soon enough.

While I would prefer it if Edward Norton were able to play Bruce Banner again in the Avengers and beyond, the latest rumor for recasting has be kind of excited. Mark Ruffalo is the latest name I’ve heard that is supposedly in talks for the the part, and I think he could be a great choice.

I have to give my support to Terry O’Quinn. I know he didn’t technically play Locke last season on LOST, but his performance of the “Smoke Monster” was fantastic in my personal opinion. He was a very complex character. He played the part very intelligent, very calculating, very manipulative, intensely angry, but very calm all at once. There were points in the season when you weren’t sure if he really was the villain. You sympathized with him in one episode, then saw a deep evil the next. He played the duality of the character with skill.

I’ve never seen “Mad Men”or “Breaking Bad”, but I think he definitely deserves a chance to win.

Yeah I know. He deserved to be though. The whole cast of Fringe is great and they all had some pretty spectacular moments in season 2. Noble just seemed to shine just a little brighter though.

Agreed. Even though he isn’t the only reason to watch Fringe by any means, John Noble’s performance continues to be a highlight. The second season of Fringe took the character of Walter to some dark and interesting places, and John Noble played the part perfectly. Unfortunately for him, the Emmys don’t usually admit that genre shows exist.

Biggest snub (in my opinion) on the emmy’s this year…..John Noble. His performance on Fringe last season was outstanding! I want to know where his nomination is. I would of also liked to have seen Timothy Olyphant be nominated for Justified but that is no where near as big as a snub as John Noble.

Man, I wanted to send in a ton of movie suggestions to you guys, but it makes a lot of sense to limit suggestions to only one. In the end, I sent you guys a suggestion for a movie that I think you might like, but probably haven’t seen before (although it isn’t that obscure so it’s possible you might have seen it).
