Woohoo! It’s here at last. Can’t wait to listen which I am going to do right now. Blast being in Australia and having to wait out the time delay between hemispheres! But big thanks to all involved for all the hard work you do in bringing this awesome show to us fans.
The new voice for Elliot sounds a bit too distant with too much echo, and I’m talking about “thinking” mode. It would be nice if the actor could dampen his recording environment a bit, or get closer to the mic, or both. Otherwise, good as always!
Correction: I’m NOT talking about “thinking” mode.
I love it! It’s back… kinda, I actually feel a bigger connection to it now than ever, awesome, I’m conecting to the whole love interest thing (I fell in love over the summer only in the same prediciment as Elliot), it’s good to have it back. It’s like having an old friend come back into your life after a few months of separation
The 2nd Elliot sounds a lot geekier. I love it.
I agree with TNN, the new Elliot seems more…I can only come up with the word twitchy. More geeky for sure. An interesting new take on the character.
Tim is right. The new dude’s recording quality is off.
Am I the only one that doesn’t care about the mic qaulity? Frankly I didn’t even notice.
Oh and “the new dude’s” name is Kevin
NitPick: At the end of this episode it seems likes Rick is going go Gwen’s house to deliver flowers but they are living together in Episode 4 (about one week later). So is this an inconsistency or is Rick a fast mover? (Please take my nitpick as a sign that I care)
I wanted to thank Lindsey Pyke for her editing/acting efforts.
Looking for to hearing TNN’s performance as Billy.
I am enjoying hearing Kevin’s interpretation of Elliott.
@Hayden
Fast mover.
So, first time commenter long time listener.
I wanted to put my one piece in on the New Elliot. TNN and I were talking at school today about the epi and I agree that Kevin is a fine addition, but I also can hear a few mic problems. I think the only thing is that the mic volume is up too loud, cancel that out and you won’t get echos or the such..
Can’t wait for Sept 23rd, or 22nd(HEROES!!! WOOT)
