Great episode guys. Tom Baker was always my favorite Doctor. My first memories of Doctor Who was the Tom Baker episodes played long ago. But I never saw his regeneration episode.
Just happened to find this on Youtube. It shows the regenerations you guys discussed with commentary.

Ok I can’t disagree with much that was said. Time and the Rani and Twin Dilemma were not very good. The thing I would like to disagree is your opinion of Colin Baker. The stories he was give left much to be desired. I know a good actor can sometimes improve a bad script( Tennant did it for Davies many times). At the time the powers that be at the BBC were losing interest in Doctor Who. If you are willing to give Colin Baker a chance to shine as the doctor let me recomend some Big Finish Audios. The Marian Conspiracy, The Holy Terror, The Siren of Time(Doctors,5,6,7), The Apocalypse Element. Doctor Who and the Pirates(very funny).
Big Finish has had some amazing stories for the 5th thru 8th Doctors. YOu should give them a try.
Love to hear your take on Doctor Who and looking forward to more.
My problem with Colin wasn’t necessarily the stories though, but his initial portrayal of the character. And it’s probably likely that he grew to be something quite a bit more. But as it stood in the initial episode, he really seemed to be a caricature of a coward.
We will all miss RTD
