Y The Last Man Vol. 5In this final Deluxe Edition hardcover collecting Y #49-60, Yorick and Agent 355 prepare for their ultimate quest to reunite the last man with his lost love, while the person, people or thing behind the disaster that wiped out half of humanity is revealed. Then, Yorick Brown's long journey through an Earth populated only by women comes to its dramatic, unexpected conclusion.
I have a feeling that the thing that happens at the end of the episode wasn’t dictated by the script for this particular episode, and by extension its author, since it deals more with the overall season arc. Therefore it was automatically less predictable.
The script for this two-parter was full of holes and wasted several opportunities. The whole “future selves on the hill” thing was executed very poorly, and I had completely forgotten about it by the time its relevance was sort of revealed. The engagement ring plot thread was poorly done (looked like the Doctor was staring at it to me). These are just a couple of examples out of the many, many clunky things in the script. These two episodes needed another polish or two on the script level, and they could have been awesome.
Multi-part episodes should be big events, not ho hum clunkiness. I think the makings of a great two-parter were hidden away in the basic idea of what we got, but the details needed to be polished by a better writer to get there.
Didn’t the scientist girl mention in the first part that she wondered why they weren’t burning up?
yes and the doctor said that it wasn’t that hot there . Becouse there cold it down some how.
do u guys think Rory died for good , even if he listed on IMDB.com that doesn’t mean he alive he might just be in flashbacks or like did about Heroes and just get the wrong info.
