Buffy Buffcast Season 5 – 2 of 2 – 05/25/06

Hey everyone, sorry fo rthe delay. We’ve had to add another server into the mix to ensure we have enough bandwidth to host the Buffcast, which caused some delays. But we think it will all be worth it. This weeks episode covers the second half of the 5th season of Buffy, and what a season it was, right? Spanning nearly 3 hours, the podcast covers each episode in depth, with analysis on character progression, and the different themes involved. At the end, we give our favorites and least favorites, as well as the fan choices which are chosen on our message boards prior to the show.

i’ve been listening to the show from the start, and i love it! buffy is my favorite show, and i think it’s awesome how so many people still love it and talk about it, and that there are podcasts like this to keep the memory of the show going. i just finished listening to the 2nd half of season 5, and i thought it was great, but it seemed like you didnt touch on a lot of things. i know it’s probably really hard to fit everything in in a condensed amount of time, but in this episode, it seemed like you werent touching on the whole willow/tara development at all, nor the development of willow’s powers throughout the season. other than that all i have to say is that this podcast is great!
Love the podcast… although I am behind in the listening. I’m geeky enough to have counted apocalypses (what is the plural of apocalypse??) as well, and I get 6 with the thing in season 4 in Doomed.

Did you guys mention that Buffy didn’t hug Xander prior to the Puffy-Xander hug (besides group-hugs), but didn’t they hug in S2 (’Phases’) the funeral parlor after they Xander stakes “Theresa” (who Angel vamped as a taunt to Buffy)?
