The wait is over. Welcome to our new Podcast, Angel Investigations. A new theme song, a new logo, a new podcast for a different kind of show. Clocking in at just over 2 hours of discussion, we bring up the best and worst of the first half of the first season of Angel the Series. If you’ve enjoyed our Buffy Buffcast so far, you are likely going to enjoy this podcast as well.
In this episode, we cover the best and worst of the season. We give you our favorite quotes, favorite episodes, and discuss thos episodes that weren’t so great. If you are sad that Angel and Buffy left the airwaves, then give us a listen, and relive your fond memories. Enjoy!

I’ve made it as clear as I can, but I think I covered all of the essentials. It was pretty complicated, especially considering the whole Darla issue (and then trying to work Connor into it! Those vamps never make it easy for you).
Good show. I don’t nearly like “I Will Remember You” as much as you guys did. I personal thought it was a bit too early to bring Buffy into the show and they should have waited until 1×21, when the show was really established, to do something like that. Of course, given that the Buffy/Riley relationship on BtVS was coming up soon, I can see why they wanted to squeeze this in before that took off.
Great podcast guys, I am a huge whedonverse fan and am always interested in hearing other peoples thoughts on these great shows. One quick correction, you guys were discussing episode 1 and said that they were in Wolfram and Hart when Russell is thrown out the window. Actually the building has a large sign before the shot moves inside that says Russell Winters Enterprises.

Need a bit more info, Mateo. Which feed. Http://www.geekshow.us/angel.xml is the current Angel-only feed, and seems to be working just fine. We previously publiushed the wrong feed name(angelcast.xml), perhaps you are subscribed to that instead? What problems are you having?

The Master sired Darla
Darla sired Angelus/Angel
Angelus sired Drusilla, and Penn
Drusilla sired Spike
Spike sired Holden Webster
But no dates of when each of them get sired.
Does Harmony not fit in there? I can’t remember if Spike sired her or if she was sired by some random vamp in the mayor attack.
You guys said you didn’t understand the title for Rm w/a Vu. It steams from the kind of thing you would see in want adds for rentals describing the room for rent as having a view (pronounced vu). It makes sense since Cordelia is looking for a new place.
I did not entirely enjoy it but it was nice to hear what other fans think about the show.
I didn’t like the fact that you guys compared it to Buffy way too often. Also, about Somnambulist. You said that the kid’s name was never mentioned, but in fact it was. Penn.
Amazing podcast guys! I’m a huge whedonverse fan and I really liked to hear your opinions and commentaries about the eps.
