From someone who hasn’t read any of the Hellboy comics. I liked it. I hope there is more to come.
I really really liked it. But I’m dying to know what Scott thought about it!
It was definitely a lot less serious of a movie than most Superhero movies (As was the first movie). However, I think that it was quite good. Especially the second half. The love song scene was hilarious. It seemed to be pretty well enjoyed by our entire theater.
I really liked Hellboy 2. I liked all the spectacle, but my favorite parts were some of the character bits, including the love song scene and the “drunk” scene that follows it. I almost want to see the movie again, just so I can watch the troll market sequence again. There was so much stuff packed in there, that I would love to just watch everything but the main characters.
