Stephen Chow Not Directing Green Hornet
Friday, December 19th, 2008Stephen Chow is no longer set to direct The Green Hornet, however he still going to play Kato.
Set to star Chow and Seth Rogen as the title the character, the film is now scrambling to line up another director. Chow who previously directed and starred in Kung Fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer will only be starring in this one.
The Character began on the radio during the 1930’s but is best known from the 1960’s TV series. The film version has taken a while to get off the ground, I remember when Kevin Smith was attached to this.

damn! I was so looking forward to this…
Hmmm…..I was also looking forward to this. Though it could still work out pretty well, depending on who they get to replace Chow.
Y’know, it could just simply be a matter of the director and the star not speaking the same language (rim shot)
I know it would never happen, but how cool would it be if Kevin Smith was attached again…
that would be epic
