Kevin Smith, Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan are “Dicks”

Kevin Smith has signed on for his next directorial project and it sounds really promising. Warner Bros. has confirmed that Kevin Smith will be directing the buddy cop movie, A Couple of Dicks starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan as mismatched cops who must work together to solve a crime.
This will be the first movie that Smith will direct, but not write and is also (depending on your perspective) Smith’s first “mainstream Hollywood” film.
A Couple of Dicks will hit theaters January, 2010.

I love Kevin Smith but this project sounds worrying to me, mismatched cop comedies are rarely good, and if you’re thinking it could fall back on its action prospects, look whose directing. I’ve also heard the title has been changed to a couple of cops.

Not the biggest fan of Tracy Morgan, but I do love me some Kevin Smith and Bruce Willis.. its a maybe.
If it’s 30 Rock Tacy Morgan, we could really have something here.
I do like Tracey Morgan… but something still feels weird about this
