I feel sad to watch New Moon now and can’t imagine RH’s daughter as Victoria in any stretch of the imagination. I hope that [they] figure it out! From a family of Twilight loving people who have many friends who Twilight–Rachelle is Victoria!! We, the fans, the diehard fans, don’t want the essence of the movie transgressed upon. RH should know that is not a good move for his daughter. Who is using who here? I don’t predict she will win anything out of this move; everyone will be kind but what their hearts really want is…Rachelle! Whether it be cast, crew, fan, etc., she’ll know what they are thinking of is Rachelle! Sorry Bryce, but Summit has made a bad call here.
Summit has a responsibility to us, the fans, you gave us Rachelle as Victoria in Twilight; we, the fans gave a lot of money. I suspect that New Moon is going to surpass Twilight’s gross because of the fans that love the characters given to us. In the books you see totally different people (vampires) as you read. Then you watch the movie which gives you a visual identity that replaces the one you had in your head. Now that will be unimaginably tainted because of a mistake in judgment and 10 days. There must be something more going on here…!?! The only time fans would have to accept this, as was with the case of Professor Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter movies, because unfortunately Richard Harris passed away; or in the case of many handsome men needed to carry on the legacy of—Bond, James Bond—007.
