Bad Idea: Scooby Doo! The Mystery Begins
Sunday, July 5th, 2009
After having our minds blown by the first two Scooby Doo movies, who wouldn’t want to see not on a third chapter, but a prequel as well? Anyone…?
Arriving on DVD and Blu-Ray September 22nd, Scooby Doo! The Mystery Begins tells the story of how the members of Mystery Inc. met, came together and solved their first mystery. Check out some of the pics and see if you can solve some mysteries I have.
Why does Velma look like she just came back from a Death Cab For Cutie concert?
Why does Fred have black hair?
What’s everybody looking at in the green picture? Their Tomatometer, pherhaps? ZING!

lol! I can’t believe fred has black hair! but it didi look light enough on the show that he dyed it. maybe he’ll bleach his hair at the end of the movie hahaha. btw nice rottentomatoes joke. :)
I look more like Shaggy than this fool
yes but you are very shaggy like in your appearence.
this looks god awfull, and like all god awefull things I will end up horridly drunk and watching it.
A straight to dvd prequel starring a bunch of people that have never been in anything. What could possibly go wrong?
It’s the new S. Darko.
I’m surpirsed you didn’t throw up apicture of Scooby, helooks just god awful
Actually, S. Darko managed to be halfway decent, if completely derivative. If they had actually stuck to the “twist” in the middle of the movie rather than completely undoing it minutes later, it could have been much better.
I actually kinda like the kid that’s playing Shaggy, but you’re right Jack, Scooby looked horrible
I liked the first Scooby Doo, but I didn’t much care for the second one, although Matthew Lillard was still fun to watch.
No Matthew Lillard as Shaggy = No interest from me
What about me as Shaggy?
The first Scooby was totes fun. My brother, his roommate, and I went to see it and got really really drunk in the theater and got overly excited over the weird cover of “Dance Magic Dance” and the appearance of Scrappy Doo (though lamented the lack of Don Knots.)
Yeah, haven’t seen it since….
