Are you sure you want to watch Trek?

Star Trek comes out this Thursday night at 7pm at a theater near you. In fact, I’ve already reserved my tickets to the first digital show time. But, before you go throwing your money away, I thought I’d give you a glimpse at the backlash the film is getting. I was thinking the buzz was mostly positive, until I saw this.
A sad day for Trek fans, for sure. :(

Wow, I think this nailed my exact thoughts on the original star trek. That being said I think the new one actually looks like its going to be fun as hell.

Not as wrong as that fight scene they showed of the original show… that was painful and hysterical at the same time.
There are many reasons I enjoyed Next Gen more than TOS. But a different debate for a different day.
I agree, I liked Next gen but I think its because I grew up with my dad watching it.
The Onion is pretty amazing :)
