I just got back from Black Friday madness. I got the Blu-Ray player that Wal-Mart had for $128. I am very happy :)
I just picked up Carnivale for 20 bucks a season, and Supernatural season 3 for 15 dollars. :P
I finally bought Bioshock! I know, I know…I’m behind the curve
wow you are lucky people. we have to wait until boxingday for our sales. Having sales the day after xmas does not help with present shopping.
I work for my uncle on the weekends so for a holiday bonus he bought me a 16gb Ipod touch!!. So this morning I got a nice $30.00 leather case for it for $10.00. I also picked up a 100 pack of DVD-R’s for $10.00. I won’t go into everything but I went to Walmart, Circuit City, Best Buy, and Target and still arrived to work 10 minutes early. I start work at 7:30.
@Schwien: Well, companies over here are big on trying to turn a profit as early in the season as possible. So they put all these deals out with the idea that people will come for the big deal or two, and stay for the rest of their shopping. Then those sales will boost them into the black. Thus “Black Friday”…though it obviously has different connotations, especially if you work retail.

Got a Samsung BP1500 (blu ray) player at Best Buy today for 199$ (my brother has the same one, he paid 300$) But I don’t get it till xmas :(
Also got (as mentioned in the give thanks article) Supernatural season 3 on Amazon for $14.99 as well as Kung Fu Panda blu ray for $14.99, and Transformers blu ray for $9.99.
Not a deal, but I bought Mirror’s Edge (360) and Avatar Book 3 too :)
