Yogi Bear
Everyone’s favorite pic-a-nic basket-stealing bear comes to the big screen in Yogi Bear. Jellystone Park has been losing business, so greedy Mayor Brown decides to shut it down and sell the land. That means families will no longer be able to experience the natural beauty of the outdoors — and, even worse, Yogi and Boo Boo will be tossed out of the only home they’ve ever known. Faced with his biggest challenge ever, Yogi must prove that he really is “smarter than the average bear” as he and Boo Boo join forces with their old nemesis Ranger Smith to find a way to save Jellystone Park from closing forever.
My Soul To Take
In the sleepy town of Riverton, legend tells of a serial killer who swore he would return to murder the seven children born the night he died. Now, 16 years later, people are disappearing again. Has the psychopath been reincarnated as one of the seven teens, or did he survive the night he was left for dead? Only one of the kids knows the answer…
Black Swan
From director Darren Aronofsky, Black Swan follows the story of Nina (Portman), a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those in her profession, is completely consumed with dance. When artistic director Thomas Leroy (Vincent Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Winona Ryder) for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice. But Nina has competition: a new dancer, Lily (Kunis), who impresses Leroy as well.As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side with a recklessness that threatens to destroy her.
Love and Other Drugs
Hathaway portrays Maggie, an alluring free spirit who won’t let anyone – or anything – tie her down. But she meets her match in Jamie (Gyllenhaal), whose relentless and nearly infallible charm serve him well with the ladies and in the cutthroat world of pharmaceutical sales. Maggie and Jamie’s evolving relationship takes them both by surprise, as they find themselves under the influence of the ultimate drug: love.
How Do You Know
From director James L. Brooks, How Do You Know is a romantic comedy centered on the love triangle between professional softball player Lisa Jorgenson (Reese Witherspoon), a corporate executive (Paul Rudd), and a major-league pitcher (Owen Wilson).

***I Love Anne Hathaway. LOVE her. Will see anything she’s in. The trailer for “Love and Other Drugs” had me…….until it turned out she was sick. ARG! This suddenly became “A Walk to Remember” and 100 other movies I’ve seen. Oh well. It might still work as a rental.
***Darren Aronofsky is an amazing director. And while this looks like it could be a great film and Natalie Portman is brilliant, it also looks typically intense and difficult to watch, like other Darren Aronofsky films.
The Yogi Bear trailer made me cringe.
The idea behind My Soul To Take reminds me of Nightmare on Elm Street 2.
Black Swan looks amazing to me. I am definitely a fan of Aronofsky though, so take that as you will.
Love and Other Drugs looks like it could be good, but it will probably depend heavily on whether you like the cast or not.
How Do You Know looks boring to me.
