Toy Story 3 Character in Up Trailer?
Friday, May 22nd, 2009
As a lot of you guys may be aware, Pixar has a habit of having charecters from their next film cameo in their latest one as easter eggs. Boo handed Sully a Nemo doll in Monster’s Inc, a boy in the dentist’s office was reading an Incredibles comic book and most recently Dug, the talking dog from Up was quickly seen chasing Remmy the rat in Ratatoullie. Well, I recently read a very interesting article that details a possible cameo from a major charecter in next year’s Toy Story 3.
According to SlashFilm, in the trailer for Up, during the scene where the ballon house rises past a little girl’s window, a pink teddy bear can be seen under the girl’s bed. Up producer Jonas Rivera confirmed to Slashfilm that the pink bear is charecter named Lotso, who someare even speculating will be the film’s villain.
I’m a big Pixar fan, so I find this all terribly interesting

I can’t wait to watch Up next week. It looks like it will be freaking hilarious, and I can’t wait to see what Pete Doctor has up his sleeve with this one. Monsters Inc has a lot of heart and emotion packed into it along with all the humor, so I’m hoping that Up will do the same thing. I’m also excited because Pete Doctor seems to have a slightly different style and flavor to his work than the other Pixar directors, which is a good thing.
As for this bear, I wouldn’t be surprised that it is in Toy Story 3, although I’m not sure how a cute, pink, fluffy bear could be that menacing as a villain. If anyone can make a fluffy pink bear into a villain though, it’s Pixar.
I’d like to see Up next week, but we’ve got to wait until October over here, LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What the hell? October? That genuinely sucks man
I know, it’s like hel… but I’ve seen Fantastic Mr Fox, before everyone
mwahahaha
That’s a fair trade-off
