I have watched 24 from the beginning, and it seems like the writers are running out of ideas the last few years. The first few seasons were really good, but as time passed, they seemed to recycle ideas more and more often. This season was fun, but it wasn’t as creative as seasons in the past.

I hope that next year can recapture some of the energy and creativity the show had as recently as season five (the best year hands down).

You know… Freddie Prinze Jr was actually kinda funny on that sitcom he did with BAG a few years ago (shut up, it was on before Lost at the time.)

Maybe this could be to his career like NYPD Blue was to Ricky (sorry Rick) Schroder or Mark-Paul Gosselar.

This news somewhat lessens the sting of Freddie Prinze, Jr joining the cast. Maybe he will surprise me, but he just doesn’t seem like the kind of actor that would be on a show like 24. I find it hard to take him seriously most of the time.

Anyway, I guess I’ll get to find out next year.
