Spider-Man Reboot: Is it too Soon?
By this point, you have no doubt heard that Sam Raimi has pulled out/been removed from the helm of Spider-Man 4. You’ve probably also heard that as a result, Spider-Man 4 has been scrapped in favor of a series reboot. Chances are, you may have even heard the recent news that 500 Days of Summer’s Marc Webb has been tapped to become the director for the planned first three installments of the reboot. From this news, the question becomes, “Is it time for the series to reboot already?”

Game of the Year 2009
The final month of the year has arrived yet again. Along with bitter winds and the potential for white flakes in the air, it brings annoying jewelry commercials, crowded shopping malls, and skyrocketing airline ticket prices. Oh yeah! December also dishes out an onslaught of lists detailing the best “whatevers” of the year. In this case, the “whatevers” I am bringing you are video games. PS3 Slim Announced: 120 gig HDD, $299
Sony has confirmed the long running rumors. It will be launching the PS3 slim for $299 dollars. The system will be 33% smaller, 36% lighter, and include a 120 gig hard drive. Release date varies by region, but will be everywhere by September 1st.

Peter Jackson’s ‘Lovely’ Trailer
Maybe you’ve never heard of Alice Sebold’s best-selling novel, The Lovely Bones. Maybe you have heard of it, but the paperback is still sitting in your “to read” pile. Maybe you’ve read the book so many times you could recite it in your sleep. Regardless of where you sit in relation to the source material, the trailer for Peter Jackson’s film adaptation of the story looks absolutely amazing.
