Can the Doctor figure out a way out of this mess and get Madge and her children back home for Christmas? What do the trees want with a human brain? The Doctor’s Companion Ep. 72 – The Cosmic Bowling Solution

The Doctor is on trial while Scott and Matt may have found a solution to the Colin Baker serial “The Mysterious Planet”, the first part of The Trial of a Time Lord. The Doctor is abducted onto a space station and put on trial for his life by a Time Lord known as The Valeyard, who uses footage from one of the Doctor’s past adventures to prove that he is meddling with time and breaking the first rule of Time Lord law. In the footage, the Doctor and Peri wind up on the planet Ravolox where they get mixed up with an evil robot named Drathro and two mercenaries named Glitz and Dibber. Can the Doctor save the planet from being destroyed by Drathro in an attempt to harness black light energy? Could this all have been solved with a few rounds of cosmic bowling?
